June 1, 2012: Notre Dame de Kyiv
The iconic stars of the legendary Notre Dame de Paris musical Daniel Lavoie and Julie Zenatti will perform in Ukraine’s capital. The concert will take place in the October Palace (Zhovtnyi Palats – in Ukrainian) on June 1, 2012.
June 2, 2012: Cassandra Wilson Headlines Alfa Jazz Fest in Lviv
One of the most outstanding contemporary jazz singers Cassandra Wilson will visit the western Ukrainian city of Lviv on June 2, 2012. The singer will headline Alfa Jazz Fest 2012.
June 3, 2012: Kyiv Builds Staircase to Heaven
The annual international festival Staircase to Heaven will start at the European Square in Kyiv’s downtown on June 3rd. Many international opera stars will join the gala concert at the open-air stage installed at the square specifically to meet the needs of the festival. Internationally acclaimed vocalists Anatoliy Kocherha (bass) and Olha Mykytenko (soprano) will headline Staircase to Heaven.
June 6, 2012: Liverpool Beatles Tribute Band Visits Ukraine
For the first time ever The Beatles impersonators will come to Ukraine to perform the British legend’s most popular songs. The band positions itself as ambassadors for the Cavern Club – the site where The Beatles gave their first concert on February 9, 1961. The team called The Cavern Beatles consists of four artists who look and sound just like the phenomenal members of the worldwide famous Liverpool quartet.
June 7, 2012: French Zaz Brings Jazz to Ukraine
French singer Isabelle Geffroy, nicknamed Zaz, will perform at Ukraine’s main concert venue – Palats Ukraina on June 7, 2012. The 31 year old jazz and soul singer mixes various musical genres to create her unique sound. Besides Ukraine, on her tour Isabelle will visit Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Japan, Macedonia, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Switzerland, and Turkey.
June 9–30, 2012: Ukrainian Capital Greets I Love Kyiv Festival
Urban culture festival I Love Kyiv will take place in Ukraine’s capital on June 9-30, 2012. The festival unfolds in Kyiv for the fourth time and offers even more entertainment than before. Besides the usual musical and art performances and exhibits, as well as fashion shows, I Love Kyiv 2012 program also features film screenings and various workshops. The visitors of the festival will be able to play ping-pong and badminton, lounge, enjoy food court, and even visit a library.
June 12, 2012: Linkin Park Headlines Odesa’s Festival
Linkin Park will be playing at the Prosto Rock Festival in Ukraine’s Odessa on June 12. Tickets are on sale since March 30. The American rock band formed in 1996 will perform at the festival for the first time.

Garbage will be playing at the Prosto Rock Festival in Ukraine’s Odessa on June 12. The American alternative rock band formed in 1994, will perform for Ukrainian fans for the first time.
June 13, 2012: Noel Gallagher Flies High in Ukraine
Former lead guitarist, lead and backing vocalist and principal songwriter of the rock band Oasis will come to Ukraine with his solo project. Noel is currently fronting Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.
June 16 – September 2, 2012: Kyiv Hosts Extreme Sports Festival
Kyiv city administration will organize a variety of competitions in extreme sports festival on June 16th – September 2nd. The festival will involve tournaments among wakeboarding, parkour, pétanque, pump track, bouldering, slacklining, footvoley, and paintball enthusiasts. Athletes will also have a chance to demonstrate their skills in more classic sports like mini golf, ping-pong, hockey, water skiing, beach volleyball, and football.
June 16, 2012: Ukraine Maintains Status Quo
British rock legend Status Quo will play on Kyiv’s stage. The two-times Guinness record holder will perform such hits asIn the Army Now and Rockin’ All Over the World as well as more recent compositions.
June 29 – July 1, 2012: Ukrainian Dnipropetrovsk Features The Best City
Today the organizers of the 18th International music festival The Best City.UA announced the final list of participants. The festival will take place on June 29-July 1 at a recreation park Novoselytsia about eight miles away from the southeastern Ukrainian city of Dnipropetrovsk.
