International Fruit & Vegetable Platform in Ukraine

Fresh Produce Ukraine is a specialized international event focused on fruit and vegetable cultivation, post-harvest handling technologies and trade in Ukraine and other member-countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States. The exhibition will also feature a conference Fruits & Vegetables of Ukraine.

The event is organized by Netherlands’ BTO Exhibitions B.V. and Ukraine’s Fruit Inform that established reputation over the last eight years. Last year’s Fresh Produce (November 30 – December 2, 2011) hosted 85 exhibitors (including over 30 supermarket chains) representing 10 different countries. At the time the event attracted over 4 000 visitors, who were enabled to explore fruit and vegetable sector of Ukraine, Russia and other CIS countries.

Fruit and vegetable business is the fastest growing sector of Ukrainian agriculture (30 percent growth rate per year). In the season of 2010-2011, the market exceeded UAH 35 billion (USD 4.5 billion).
