One Stage in Kyiv to Host Dances of the World
The third Dances of the World 2012 festival will take place in Ukraine’s capital. Anybody in Kyiv on February 5, 2012, will have a chance to witness the phenomenon of self-expression, as every nation has a unique distinctive style of dancing.
Dances of the World 2012 will raise the curtain on dance culture of a number of nations. More than 20 Ukrainian dancing troupes will perform the most representative examples of folk dances of the world. The guests of the festival will be exposed to various cultures of rhythm and dance styles: from Afghanistan, African countries, Argentina, Brazil, China, France, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, India, Ireland, Korea, Russia, Spain, Ukraine, and many more.
Ukrainians are known as a musically inclined nation. Ukrainian language, along with French and Spanish, is recognized as one of the most melodic languages in the world. Ukraine offers a bright mosaic of dancing teams of all ages, performing in a variety of styles – starting from Ukrainian folk dances to the dances of the world!
