Ukrainian Museums Lend Their Collections to MoscowFor the rest of the summer 2012 the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, Moscow, Russia, hosts an exhibition of 6-18th century paintings, provided by Ukrainian museums. Nine Ukrainian museums in Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, Poltava, and Zhytomyr lent pieces from their permanent collections to the Russian museum.

South Park Heroes Go GlassRussian artists used the images of the cult heroes of the provocative American cartoon series – South Park – in decorative art. Therefore, the exhibition will be of interest to two different groups of people: South Park fans and art lovers.

Southern Ukrainian Resort Welcomes Festival of IronThe first part of the 12th International Knight Festival Henuezskyi Sholom (Genoa’s Helmet) will start on July 27th. The festival consists of several events. One of them, titled Iron Town, will feature Europe’s best craftsmen, showing off their forging skills. The festival is timed with the celebration of the 1800th birthday of the southern Ukrainian city of Sudak.
