Ukraine-NATO Cooperation Plan 2011 Approved
Kyiv, April 15, 2011. The annual program on Ukraine-NATO cooperation for 2011 has been approved by the Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, reports the presidential press service.
The program outlines the tasks on democratic reforms implementation, enhancement of Ukraine’s legislature, namely adoption of electoral state service related laws and the development of a strategy on corruption countermeasures in 2011-2014.
Also, the NATO-Ukraine cooperation program includes issues on energy security, state administration and criminal justice reform, cooperation with the EU and international organizations, anti-terrorist activities. A separate part of the program is dedicated to military and defense issues.
The event plan of the cooperation program is to be drafted within the following month.
