Kyiv, March 11, 2014. Team Ukraine won three medals – two bronze and one silver at the fifteenth edition of the international indoor track and field competition. The 2014 event organized by the IAAF was held on March 7–9 at the Ergo Arena in Sopot, Poland. Ukrainian athletes Andriy Protsenko, Olha Saladukha, and Alina Fiodorova climbed the podium in Sopot.

Kyiv, 7 November, 2013. Three western Ukrainian cities: Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Kolomyia joined eastern Polish Lublin, Zamosc, and Przeworsk for a joint project – Eastern European Gems: the creation and promotion of urban cultural tourism products in the cross-border area. The participating cities will develop audio tours for individual tourists as well as offer other products for travellers. The program is sponsored by the European community.

Kyiv, October 23, 2012. World Bank named Poland and Ukraine the two countries of the Central and Eastern Europe that demonstrated most improvement in the area of doing business. Over 2011 Ukraine made it easier to start business in the country, introduced tax relief measures, and improved property registering procedures.

Kyiv, April 25, 2012. The Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Ukraine Henryk Litwin had no doubt Ukraine would become a part of the EU. This was stated in his interview with ForUm news agency. He explained that Ukraine needed changes, and some of them were featured in the Association Agreement and Visa-free Action Plan, in order to join the union of 27 countries.

Kyiv, March 23, 2012. As of today a new business entity may be registered in Ukraine within three days, said Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov when visiting the Warsaw Stock Exchange in Poland. Ukrainian government actively pursues deregulation and works on reducing administrative impact on business, stated the prime minister.
