The parade of St. Nicholas started a one-week charitable marathon that was organized to collect funds for children diagnosed with cancer. Finland, Sweden, Check Republic, Norway, Poland, Germany, Great Britain, Nigeria, and Mexico sent their own cultural renditions of St. Nicolas to participate in the Lviv parade.

The minister said that the development will ensue within the national program to modernize the Crimean peninsula into an attractive tourist destination.

The 19th Holiday Bazaar organized by the International Women’s Club of Kyiv took place in the Ukrainian capital on December 3, 2011. Over 15,000 people and 38 foreign embassies participated in the event. The main purpose of the Bazaar was to raise charitable funds for the needy women, children, disabled and elderly peoples of Ukraine.
